Detention Centers for kids

Kids crossing the border are getting taken from their families, and are sent to Detention Centers for more than 72 hours. Imagine being in a foreign place, stripped from your parents and not allowed to make a single phone call to tell anyone you love that you are still alive.

Kids have reported missing their families and are very hungry. These kids go days without proper hygiene, and are cold at night. They get bad mattress's and very thin blankets, that are sometimes taken away, which means being close together to provide body heat. Many have not been allowed to bath or brush their teeth.
